Former UA football player opens training center

Mike McCoy, who played on the University of Alabama's 2009 championship team, and Ryan Romano, who wrestled at West Virginia University, have opened a new training center in Bessemer.

A former University of Alabama receiver and a partner have opened a new training center in Bessemer.

Mike McCoy, who played for Alabama during the 2009 national championship run, and Ryan Romano, a former wrestler for Hoover High School and West Virginia University, are owners of the new Warehouse Performance Institute.

The center, located on Farr Road in Bessemer, will train individuals ranging from children to professional athletes.

Both McCoy and Romano previously worked at IMG Performance Institute.
